Epoxy System Methodology

After the completion of the surface preparations in the regions, epoxy application started. As a result of the researches carried out on the surface before the application of the system, epoxy grout applications were made in the pit areas over 5 mm and at the end of the 0-4 cm inclined screed area. Plans were also made to apply epoxy lamination (increasing the fibroporous stretch surface) on weak and cracked surfaces.
Workmanship processes after preparations are completed are:

  •   Epoxy Impregnation Application (on all required surfaces)
  •   Epoxy Mortar repair works (cracked areas)
  •   Lamination (reinforcement with fiberglass where needed)
  •   Epoxy Skirting Applications
  •   Primer + Interlayer PU + Topcoat PU applications (Epoxy System)
  •   Direction Line Painting Applications

Solvent (Cellulosic Thinner): It will be decided according to concrete absorption status( 50gr / m2) for Epoxy Impregnation.
Glass Fiber-Fibro mesh (75gr / m2 / 1m width) will be applied in grout and crack areas, on surfaces that may cause a risk.

In the studies carried out, the distribution of the material usage amounts according to the current situation in the field was examined and the application was checked and completed according to the norms in the material technical pages. Accordingly, the expiry date of the materials and the internal temperature norms of the application areas were reviewed and planning was made to weigh the materials under construction conditions and to ensure consumption control.
In this regard, the amount of additional application and material to be used is determined before the

system was applied and these controls were made in the field during the application.
